Tree Board
The Tree Board consists of six members with a minimum of one member coming from the City Council. To be eligible to serve on the Tree Board, a person must be 18 years of age or older and be a City resident. Members are appointed by the Mayor and with the approval of the City Council.
The Tree Board was established for the purpose of enhancing the quality of life and the present and future health, safety, and welfare of all residents, to enhance property values, and to ensure proper planting and care of trees on public property. The Board shall consist of six members with a minimum of one member coming from the City Council. To be eligible to serve on the Tree Board, a person must be 18 years of age or older and be a City resident. Members are appointed by the Mayor and with the approval of the City Council.
